*Enjoy some time with friends at The Planet with bowling, pool and other fun games. OPENED: everyday 11:00 -23:00.  (Planet Entertainment Centre, Galway Shopping Centre)

* Feeling a bit extreme? GO KARTING! OPENED: Monday – Friday 14:00 – 22:00 Saturday – Sunday 12:00 – 22:00 (Liosban Industrial Estate, Tuam Road)

*A night at the dogs. Bet and enjoy the race. (Galway Greyhound Track, College Rd)

*Watch the newest films at Galway’s two top cinemas IMC Cinema (Galway Retail Park, Headford Rd) and Eyecinema (Wellpark Retail Park, Wellpark )

*Enjoy a walk around the beaches of Salthill and take in the views.

* Wn some money at slots and bingo or just fish for stuffed toys at Seapoint Leaisure Centre  OPENED: everyday 10:00 – 01:00(Seapoint Leisure Centre, Salthill)

*Drop by the Kingfisher for a swim or get fit with a range of classes available. The classes are great as they are pay as you go and you don’t have to be a member to be able to attend. (NUI Galway Sports Centre, National University of Ireland)

*The best place to relax on a nice sunny day is along Claddagh Quay. Just sit on the grass and enjoy the sun while you can!

*Grab a game and a donut at Dungeons and Donuts (The Bridge Mill)
